Congratulations to American Freedom Gold Trout player
Courtney Colunga (2013, 3B) who recently verbally committed
to NCAA Division II Arkansas Tech University. ATU competes
in the brand new Great American Conference after previously
winning the Gulf South Conference West division 3 of the
past 4 years. Ms. Colunga is the fourth 2013 AFT commitment
and the 15th AFT player to commit in 2011 (27th overall)
including 9 Division II, 3 Division I, and 3 Division
III commiments. Way to go Courtney!

Jennifer Vrazel (2013, 1B) who recently verbally committed
to NCAA Division II Incarnate Word. Incarnate Word plays
in the extremely tough Lone Star Conference. Ms. Vrazel
is the third 2013 AFT commitment and the 14th AFT player
to commit in 2011 (26th overall) including 8 Division
II, 3 Division I, and 3 Division III commiments. Way to

Amanda Fiveash (2012, P/OF) who recently verbally committed
to NCAA Division III East Texas Baptist University. ETBU
won the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2010
and has made the NCAA tournament the past 12 consecutive
years! Ms. Fiveash is the 11th 2012 commitment and the
13th AFT player to commit in 2011 (25th overall) including
7 Division II, 3 Division I, and 3 Division III commiments.

to NCAA Division III East Texas Baptist University. ETBU
won the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2010

The American Freedom Organization really started in 2010.
Since then the American Freedom Gold (Soefje) and the
American Freedom Gold (Trout) have combined to help 53
players commit to the college of their choice including
23 players @ the NCAA Division I level, 18 @ the NCAA
Division II level, 6 @ the NCAA Division III level and
6 at the NJCAA Division I level.
Without a doubt, the American Freedom has established
itself as one of the premier recruiting organizations
not only in Texas but in the country! Nice job EVERYONE!

American Freedom Gold Trout finished off the 2011 Fall
Showcase season with a perfect 5-0 record at the All-American
Showcase in Plano, Tx this weekend. AFT finished the fall
season with a 32-9 record and played in front of over
80 different colleges and universities. AFT will now focus
on their bi-weekly "individual workouts" after
a few weeks off for the holiday season. Great job ladies!

Leah Choate (2012, MI/C) who recently verbally committed
to NCAA Division II powerhouse Arkansas Tech University.

Chelsey Wall (2012, SS) who recently verbally committed
to NCAA Division II powerhouse Midwestern State University.
MSU advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship
Tournament in 2011 and finished the season ranked #3 in
the country. They play in one of the nations top conferences
- the Lone Star Conference. Ms. Wall becomes the 9th AFT
2012 player to commit this year including 5 Division II,
3 Division I, and 1 Division III commiments.

Softball Head Coach Gidget Pambianchi has announced
the hiring of Randall Trout as an assistant coach
for the Golden Suns program.
I am really excited to add Randall (Trout) to my coaching
staff, Pambianchi said. He is an extremely hard worker
and is very organized and will be a plus for us in recruiting.
We are very excited to say that Coach Alyson Trout is
now our head coach so nothing will change. We will still
be that same competitive gold team in the fall that we
were this summer.

American Freedom Gold Trout is excited to announce that
we have been extended an offer into the prestigious Colorado
Fireworks Tournament in late June and early July. We look
forward to playing in this great tournament!
The American Freedom Fastpitch Softball Club is the only
travel club in Texas to have two 18u Gold teams, a 16u
team, and a 14u team accepted into the prestigious 2011
Colorado Fireworks. Our 14u team is also in the Triple
Crown/Sparkler Futures the same weekend. In just 2 years,
the AF has signed/verballed more than 30 players to college,
including 16 at the Div. I level.

Former American Freedom Trout player CHANDLER HENSON (2010,
C) blasted her first college HR yesterday to help lead
the University of Mary Hardin Baylor to a 10-8 victory
over Hardin-Simmons yesterday. Ms. Henson was 2-2 with
3 RBI's in the game. UMHB clinched a 2nd straight American
Southwest Conference Title with their DH sweep.

header sweep this past week. Ms. Henson went 2-3 with

of Houston, University of New Mexico, and the University
of Texas- Arlington in an advanced skills clinic on August
28th, 9am-5pm, at Allen Station. There will be additional
coaches attending and providing instruction including

Division I & Division II Camps Hosted by American
Freedom
In a continued effort to find players not
only on our own team, but across the state of Texas the
right college fit the American Freedom Gold Trout team
will help host the 2nd Annual Division II camp as well
as our 1st Annual Division I camp. Two universities that
we will be hosting in June will square off in the South
Central Division II Super Regional this weekend in Wichita
Falls, Tx. Midwestern State University will play host
to Angelo State University. For more information about

AF to participate in first-ever....
The American Freedom Gold Trout will play
in the first year of the Premier Girls Fastpitch qualifying
tournament held in Cypress, Tx in the hopes of qualifying
for the ESPN Rise/Premier National Championship held in
Huntington Beach, CA in August.
